TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By using our online booking system and participating in Zumba® Fitness classes, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. Assumption of Risk & Waiver of Liability
Participation in Zumba® Fitness classes involves physical activity that carries inherent risks, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, or property damage. By joining these classes, you voluntarily assume all risks and release Ur Fitness DJ, including Dennis Abad, Junn De Guzman, substitute instructors, contractors, and volunteers, from any claims, liabilities, or legal actions—whether arising from negligence or otherwise—related to your participation.

2. Health & Safety Disclaimer
Fitness Readiness: You confirm that you are in good health and physically able to participate in Zumba® Fitness classes. If you have any medical conditions, injuries, or concerns, you should seek medical advice before joining.
Instructor’s Discretion: The instructor reserves the right to ask a participant to stop or modify their activity if they display signs of illness, injury, or unsafe behaviour.

3. Code of Conduct
To ensure a fun and positive experience for all participants:
Treat instructors and fellow participants with respect.
Refrain from disruptive, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour.
Follow all safety instructions provided by instructors.
If photography or recording takes place for promotional purposes, participants will be informed and given the option to opt out.            

4. Palmerston Get Active Program Participants
If you are participating in Zumba® Fitness classes under the Palmerston Get Active program, your information will be shared with the Palmerston City Council to update their administrative records and support community program development. Your personal information will not be used for any other purpose.

5. Access to Personal Information
You have the right to access your personal information held by the Council. Requests can be made through the Office of the Information Commissioner at (08) 8999 1500 or via email at infocomm@nt.gov.au.
